Dating from around the 16th century these peacocks are part of the collection at the Palazzo Bargello in Florence, Italy. I imagine they formed or decorated a pediment over a doorway. Fortunately for me, they are displayed at body level in the museum so I was able to sit in front of them and make these drawings.
